Worked examples
The first 2,500 requests each day from an address, or on a key, are free. On credit, everything above that costs €0.0001 per request. An Unlimited key is €50 per month regardless of volume, or €500 per year (two months free).

Rule of thumb: below about 19,000 requests a day on a key, credit costs less. Above that, an Unlimited key does. Usage that is not every day, such as a monthly import, is usually cheapest on credit because you only pay on the days you run it.

How paying works
Signing up
An account needs your name, an email address and a password. That is the entire form. No company, no card. You can already make 2,500 requests a day without any key. An account gives you keys that share one daily allowance, a usage history, and somewhere to put credit or a package; your first key is created as soon as you confirm your email address, and you can create more whenever you like. Requests without a key and requests with a key from the same network share one daily allowance. Nothing is charged until you decide to buy credit or a package.
Credit
Top up whenever you like with a pack of €10, €25, €50 or €100, by card or in crypto. Each request above your account's free 2,500 for the day takes €0.0001 from the balance, which is shared by all your pay-as-you-go keys. Credit does not expire. When the balance reaches zero, requests above the free allowance get a 402 until you top up; nothing is ever charged automatically. The dashboard emails you when the balance runs low.
Unlimited key
€50 per month, or €500 per year with two months free, paid in advance by card or in crypto. Each package comes with its own key. That key pays nothing per request and may be used from up to three IP addresses in any rolling 24 hours. Pay each period yourself, from a renewal invoice raised a week before expiry, or choose the card subscription at checkout and it renews on the same day every month (or every year, for a yearly package) until you stop it in the dashboard. If a period is not paid, the key carries on as a pay-as-you-go key using your credit. Cancel any time.
Cards and crypto
Card payments go through Polar, which runs the checkout and handles sales tax and VAT as merchant of record. Crypto is paid right here on the site through NOWPayments, in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin and many other coins; the amount is fixed when you pick a coin and the invoice is marked paid once the network confirms the transfer. All prices are in euros.

Referrals and coupons
Earn 10% of what people you refer pay
Every account has a referral link. When someone signs up through it, 10% of every invoice they pay, credit top-ups and Unlimited packages alike, goes to your referral balance for as long as they remain a customer. Referral earnings are tracked separately from your prepaid credit. Move them into credit whenever you like, or cash them out in crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC and others) from €20; cashouts are sent by hand, usually within a business day, and the transaction id shows up in your dashboard.
Coupon codes
A coupon can take a percentage or a fixed amount off a top-up or a package, or add bonus credit on top of what you buy. Enter it when you create the invoice, or on any unpaid invoice before you start paying it. Codes come from our announcements, the blog and occasionally support.
Questions about pricing
Is the free 2,500 a day per account or per key?
Per account, per UTC day. All of your keys share one 2,500 a day, so creating another key does not add free requests. Credit is one balance for the whole account as well and is used once the free allowance is gone.
Do the drop-in hosts cost more?
No. A request to gapi.mygeocode.com in Google's format costs exactly what the same request to api.mygeocode.com costs, and it uses the same key allowance.
What does the IP limit mean in practice?
The first addresses to use a key each hold a slot for 24 hours from their first request; when a slot's 24 hours are up it frees on its own. A pay-as-you-go key has two slots, an Unlimited key three. A request from a new address while all slots are held is refused with 403 and is not counted. If you run more servers than that, use more keys or more packages.
Can I switch a key between credit and Unlimited?
An Unlimited package always comes with its own key. When the package lapses or is cancelled, that key keeps working on credit. To move an existing pay-as-you-go workload to Unlimited, order a package and swap the key in your configuration.
Are there volume discounts on credit?
The Unlimited key is the volume discount. At high volumes it works out to a fraction of a cent per thousand requests.
How does the referral programme work?
Share the link from the Referrals page of your dashboard. Anyone who signs up through it is yours; 10% of every invoice they pay is added to your referral balance, which is separate from credit. You can move that balance into credit at any time or request a crypto cashout from €20. Referring yourself earns nothing.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Card payments go through Polar, which handles the checkout and any sales tax or VAT as merchant of record. The only other way to pay is crypto, through NOWPayments.
