Pricing

Try it before you buy anything. The first 2,500 requests each day are free for everyone, always, with no API key and no account. When you need more, sign up with an email address and nothing else, then either add credits as you go or pay a flat monthly fee. Every endpoint and every drop-in host costs the same, and the data is the same on every plan.

Worked examples

The first 2,500 requests each day are free on every plan. On credits, everything above that costs $0.001 per request. Unlimited is €50 a month regardless of volume.

Requests a dayFreePaid with creditsCredits per dayCredits per 30 daysUnlimited per 30 days
2,5002,5000$0.00$0.00€50
3,0002,500500$0.50$15.00€50
4,0002,5001,500$1.50$45.00€50
5,0002,5002,500$2.50$75.00€50
10,0002,5007,500$7.50$225.00€50
25,0002,50022,500$22.50$675.00€50
100,0002,50097,500$97.50$2,925.00€50

Rule of thumb: below about 4,300 requests a day, credits cost less. Above that, Unlimited does. Usage that is not every day, such as a monthly import, is usually cheapest on credits because you only pay on the days you run it.

How paying works

Signing up

An account needs an email address. That is the entire form. No name, no company, no phone number, no card. You can create keys and whitelist addresses immediately and the account gets the same free 2,500 requests a day. Nothing is charged until you decide to buy credits or subscribe.

Credits

Top up any amount from $5 whenever you like, by card or in crypto. One credit pays for one request above the free allowance and costs $0.001. Credits are used only after the day's free 2,500, including when you use an API key. They do not expire. When the balance reaches zero, requests above the free allowance get a 402 until you top up; we never charge a card on file automatically. The dashboard emails you at 20% and at zero.

Unlimited

€50 a month, paid in advance by card or in crypto. Use as much as you like from up to two IP addresses in any 24 hour period per account, by key or whitelist. Card subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel; crypto payments cover one month at a time. Cancel any time and the plan runs to the end of the paid month.

Crypto

We accept Bitcoin (on-chain and Lightning), Ethereum, USDC, USDT and Litecoin for credits and for Unlimited. The amount is fixed at checkout, the payment is confirmed on the network, and the credits or the month are applied within minutes. No account verification beyond the email address.

Prices exclude VAT where it applies. Receipts are available in the dashboard.

Questions about pricing

Is the free 2,500 a day per account or per IP?

Without an account it is per IPv4 address, or per /40 block for IPv6. With an account it is per account: the first 2,500 requests a day across all your keys and whitelisted IPs are free, then credits are used.

Do I lose the free 2,500 when I add a key?

No. A key or a whitelisted address moves the counting from your IP to your account, and your account gets the same 2,500 a day free. Credits are only touched above that.

Do the drop-in hosts cost more?

No. A request to gapi.mygeocode.com in Google's format costs exactly what the same request to api.mygeocode.com costs, and it uses the same free allowance.

Why is one price in dollars and one in euros?

Credits are priced in US dollars and the Unlimited subscription in euros. You pay in the currency shown; your bank or your wallet handles the conversion.

Can I switch between credits and Unlimited?

Yes, from the dashboard, at any time. Moving to Unlimited takes effect immediately and your credit balance is kept for later. Moving back takes effect at the end of the paid month.

Can I have more than two IP addresses on Unlimited?

No; two per 24 hours per account is the rule for that plan. If you run a larger fleet, use credits, where whitelisting has no limit on the number of addresses.

What if I need more than 50 requests a second?

Write to us with a sentence about your use case. Burst limits are raised for accounts in good standing at no charge.
